Indi Hopkins
I’m here to support you and your animals in finding greater balance, connection, and well-being through energy healing.
After sixteen years as a behavioral dog trainer and more than seven years in the healing arts, I came to understand that what we see on the surface is usually connected to deeper layers of emotional patterns, energetic imbalances and nervous system dysregulation.
That understanding has completely transformed my work.
Today, energy healing is at the heart of my practice, supporting greater balance, regulation, and ease for both animals and their guardians. My background in behavior brings another layer of understanding when challenges arise.
I also teach Holy Fire® Reiki and Animal Reiki, empowering my students to deepen their own healing, step more fully into their personal mastery, and, if they feel called, support the healing of others.

The Origin Story
Where this all began...
My connection with animals started very early in life although it was not always easy. When I was one year old, a pack of blue tick hounds trampled me in our yard, which led to a severe phobia of dogs that lasted into my early twenties. In 2009, a series of events led me to an animal shelter in Virginia to begin working through my fear of dogs and after three months of regular visits to a local shelter, I adopted a pitbull named Monroe and a German Shepherd mix named Kennedy. Monroe had some major behavioral challenges which then led me to become a behavioral dog trainer in 2010. I went on to work with thousands of dogs and their guardians to provide behavioral support through positive reinforcement training.
After experiencing profound personal healing beginning in 2017, I developed a somewhat obsessive interest in energy healing. In 2019, I began formally training in and practicing a variety of healing modalities. Over the years, I created a unique healing practice that integrates several healing modalities. In 2025, my healing work shifted to animals and their guardians, and in 2026, Wild Earth Animal Alchemy was born.
Today, I support animals of all species and the humans who love them through virtual healing sessions from the comfort of your own home. I also offer in-person sessions for clients in Wilmington, NC.

For a long time, I felt like I was living in two separate worlds... behavioral dog trainer by day and energy healer by night. In 2025, I experienced a powerful realization that these paths were never meant to be separate. I began integrating energy healing with behavioral training to support both animals and their guardians, and the results have been truly transformative.
That realization led to the birth of Wild Earth Animal Alchemy in 2026. Today, I support animals of all species and the humans who love them through virtual healing and behavioral consulting sessions from the comfort of your own home. I also offer in-person sessions for clients in Wilmington, NC.
